For tenants moving from afar

Property viewing

R700 per viewing

We view a property on your behalf when it isn’t on Roomiverse or with one of our partners, and you can’t get there yourself. For example, you live in Johannesburg and want to move to Cape Town, but have no one to view the place for you.

We check the home looks the same in person as in the pictures you were sent
We check that major things work, and flag any major defects that make the property unlivable
We take pictures and videos and send them to you, with key things to note
We walk the surrounding streets so you know if it’s a good place to live: no noisy roads, problem houses or terrible neighbours

For landlords, agents and tenants

Ingoing or outgoing inspection

R1 000 per inspection

A full inspection with the tenant when they move in or move out. For when the landlord isn’t available, or isn’t confident doing it themselves.

Done in person with the tenant on move-in or move-out day
We use the landlord’s inspection checklist, or provide one
We take pictures and videos of the property’s condition
The evidence goes to the landlord or agent, and the tenant

Book an inspection

To book, email hello@roomiverse.co.za with the property’s suburb and the dates that suit you, and we will confirm.
